Testimonials for Motiv8: 8 Ways To ROCK Your Own World
I just wanted to say that after the Motiv8 presentation, my daughter and I are getting along miraculously better. I've tried so many things in so many ways, but something just clicked on Saturday. Thank you!

Sheira Brayer is a dynamo! She combines her incredible talent for music with a no-nonsense approach to understanding the importance of loving yourself and how that love and acceptance changes your world and the world around you. She deeply impacted the students at our Unity Leadership Conference and gave them clear tools for looking at the world differently and identifying paths to personal success!"

I could not have been happier with the outcome of the program. You are truly gifted. The program content was perfectly geared to the ability level of the children and imparted many valuable lessons. Thanks, again!

YOU for inspiring me and the girls and moms that attended Motiv8! I
personally got a lot out of it. I was quite impressed with the way your
presentation flowed and connected each technique and skill through
multi-media, stories and interaction. It was fresh and kept everyone's
interest! I will absolutely recommend your program!

Sheira, you are a true inspiration to all of us! The presentation today ROCKED! You did an incredible job! Your heart was all over it and that's what makes a difference! If everyone lived these principles on a daily basis, we'd all live in a much better world!

The Bridgehampton School thanks you, Sheira, and your Motiv8 program for inspiring our Middle and High School girls. Motiv8 kept our girls motivated and challenged them to think more about themselves. At the end of the program the girls felt empowered to stand up to their own “stinky thinking” and to stand up to others. It was the time you took to listen to our girls which made this program shine. Your beautiful music, personal stories and witty sense of humor made it easy for everyone to relate to. I think each girl brought a special piece of you home with them that day. Thank you again for inspiring us.
The Motiv8 program was really fun and interesting! I just got out of school and have to do math homework that seems hard for me. I just got "stinky thinking" by telling my mom that I can't do the homework because its so hard and it makes no sense. I looked at myself in the mirror like you did and saw myself all angry. You're right. It really isn't pretty seeing yourself all angry and upset. Before I do my math homework, I'll be sure to take a deep breath and maybe close my eyes for a little bit before I start. I also wanted to say thank you so much for teaching me all these techniques to help me get through some of the things I stress out about in my life. It really is very helpful so thank you! :)

I went to Sheira's MOTIV8 program with my 11-year-old daughter. To this day my daughter hasn't stopped humming Sheira's tunes and talking about the content of her presentation. Sheira is an excellent entertainer and an inspiring presenter. Not only did she motivate my tween, I left with renewed energy as well. Congratulations on creating such a unique program - great work!
Sheira was amazing! She reached out to the students in a dynamic, moving and captivating way. Sheira relayed the messages we should be sending our girls. She opened up their eyes and ears and really made a difference in the school! I highly recommend Motiv8!

We had Sheira and her Motiv8 program in during our Human Rights Week. The program was engaging and connecting for both teenage girls and their moms! Sheira empowered them through the 'soul food' found in the 8 components of Motiv8! She gave relationship building strategies and manageable real life suggestions on how to "ROCK YOUR WORLD" in 8 positive ways!"

As the mother of 3 children, (2 of whom are daughters) I have had a special interest in Sheira's MOTIV8 program. Having experienced Sheira in action on several occasions now, I can confidently say that she is going to change the lives of many, many young girls. The combination between the unique and powerful skills she provides, and her poignant, thought-provoking, light-hearted and fun delivery, creates a strong connection between her and her audience, mothers and daughters alike. She is giving these young girls what they need to gain confidence and a positive self image, but not in a lecturing way, and not only with a step by step action plan. She relates to them, and they in turn relate to her. Her stories and lessons create "aha" moments for everyone, multiple times over throughout the presentation. From a parent's perspective, I can tell you that I have learned so much from Sheira and her program. Her ground-breaking approach provides the opportunity to institute new, healthy behaviors and points of view, which we, as moms (those most influential in our daughters' lives) can then reinforce. It is one thing for the girls to hear the messages, understand and accept them, but the gift Sheira gives to the parents is the chance to model the techniques and the healthy attitude she encourages, every day in their own lives. The girls will always be watching their mothers, which will make the effects of the MOTIV8 program dramatic, transforming and lifelong.

gave a heartfelt and fun presentation to our middle school girls and
their moms (and even some dads!). The great value of the program was
that the girls and their parents heard and shared together Sheira’s
message of coping, in a loving way, with the real stress in their
world. Everyone came away with actual tools to help them feel good
about themselves and to develop healthy attitudes and behaviors with

Sheira is creative and skillful in designing this program (Motiv8) - it is fun, interactive and relevant to girls in elementary, middle school and high school grades. It teaches girls important key concepts and coping skills in growing up in today's world.

"We loved MOTIV8 because all the girls were VERY motivated after Sheira's program! Her instant connection with them was mesmerizing! Even after she left, our campers were still saying: "We need more GIRL in our WORLD!" It was very unique the way she used the multi-media presentation -- it kept the girls engaged the whole time! We loved her music and her messages! Just magical!"

Thank you so much for developing such an inspiring and innovative program for our young ladies. It is so important to provide our daughters with the proper tools to feel comfortable with who they are and not worry about fitting in with others and what people think of them. My daughters have pointed out their "stinky thinking" ever since their first Motiv8 class and try to adjust their thoughts. They enjoyed Motiv8 so much that they wanted the class to continue. We hope that you can visit our public schools very soon.

Sheira's Motiv8: 8 Ways to ROCK Your Own World presentation was the perfect kick-off event for our weekly girl-empowerment series. She got the girls and their moms involved with personal stories and humor, and ended the day with lots of hugs among new friends.

I have yet to see show as specific as this one which targets the thought process and helps the students to develop a sense of empowerment. Ms. Brayer’s visit proved to be a very positive experience for all involved! My students were actively involved throughout the show and seemed to truly enjoy themselves. I highly recommend her program!

Sheira communicated with the students through discussion as well as song. Her messages were well received by all. She spoke with the children about thought processes, thinking positive, and empowerment. The dialogue between Sheira and the students was both productive and enjoyable. The combination of entertaining songs and thought provoking conversation was incredible. I highly recommend this program for children of all ages.

Sheira seems to have a flair for interacting with students and keeping their attention for quite a long time through her music and her humor. In addition to her musical talent, she has the ability to motivate children to “think different.” I believe that a program which entertains and motivates children is integral to every school’s Arts In Education curriculum.
