Sheira is an empowerment speaker, teacher, songwriter and producer best known for her work as co-creator and head songwriter for the Emmy-nominated and multiple award-winning Public Television series “Dittydoodle Works”, for which she wrote hundreds of songs. The show teaches life skills to children through music and humor.
Throughout her career, Sheira has collaborated with top talent including Oscar, Tony, Grammy and Emmy winning composer Marvin Hamlisch, international R&B icon Chaka Khan, pop idol David Cassidy and Broadway Veteran Joe Baker. She has also taught children in after-school programs, community centers, religious institutions as well as private classes.
Sheira's "Motiv8: 8 Ways To ROCK Your Own World" is transforming relationships between teen girls and their moms through her unique, interactive multimedia presentation as well as her personal stories and unique sense of humor!
Sheira's acclaimed program for younger children “The Gift Of Song: Motivating Children Through Music” has taken her all over the tri-state area (schools, camps, libraries, hospitals).
Sheira is also the musical advisor to "First At Friars", an industry showcase helping new talent get into the spotlight at the legendary Friar's Club in NYC.
Her charitable work includes 'The Wounded Warriors' organization for which she wrote the theme song ("Lift You Up"), as well as 'Songs Of Love', a national organization who recruited Sheira to write custom songs for sick children around the country.
